{Look at me, 2 posts i the same day}
Serenity was all tucked into bed. We were getting settled, and she comes out into the living room, very sheepishly, and asks, "Mommy, can I bring an apple to my teacher tomorrow?" For the split second all I could do was look at my beautiful little girl and think, Oh My Gosh, she is just the sweeetest thing ever. I answered her, "Of course you can baby." She beamed me a one of a kind Serenity smile and said, still very bashful, "I want her to know how much I like her and love her. " Now I am fighting the Aweee mommy response for fear of embarrasing her. SO I just tell her how I think it is a very sweet thing to do. We pick out the best looking apple we have, and then she is worring that it will be brown if we put it in her back pack because the apple she took to school today for snack had a small brown spot on it, and she doesn't want to give Mrs. Ulmer a brown apple. We reassured her that the apple she had must have already had a small bruise on it because it wouldn't have gotten it from her backpack. Then she was worried about a napkin for her. Unfortunaltely on this one, I could do anything. We do not use disposible napkins at our house. We use cloth napkin because I hate to make trash. She finally settled for this and went back to bed. I think her teacher made quite an imapct on her today. I don't know where she learned about bringin an apple to the teacher, but I think it was the sweetest thing I have ever heard come from a child.

First Day of School
So today was the first day of school for my munchkins. Anthony and Joey had a great morning. I could hardly believe how quickly they got ready for school, compared to last year. That must show how much they missed all their friends. Serenity was so super excited. She wore her sailor dress which she always wants to wear but is just too dressy for everyday. And she got to use her new lunch box in Mrs. Josephine's class, which is the Kindergarten enrichment class at the day care I work at. Then she got to get on the bus from JLDC and go to Schwenksville. She was so excited because she actually knows quite a few kids in her class either from the day care or the nursery school class she was in last year. Out of 20 kids she knows at least 7 or 8, which is pretty good. Serenity had spanish today, which she keeps saying she went to english class and learned how to say Ohla (I can't spell it but you know what I mean) SO here are a few pictures. I am really mad though because as I was coping them off the camera and onto the computer it said it "lost" 19 pictures. Thankfully most were just random snapshots from our trip to NC this summer. I am sad to lose those but they were anyspecial ones. But I did lose a few from this morning, I could cry. I had some great shots of Anthony and Joey by themselves and a cute one of them together which are all lost. The other picture that stayed... of course was the one I let them do the goofy pose. Jimmy says it looks more natural for them anyway. But at least I still have that one. I would be devestated if I lost all the ones of the boys completely.

First day of school is coming soon
All three of the kids are getting ready for their first day of school on Wednesday. Anthony will be heading off to 7th grade. He will be on the Titans this year. It wasn't the team he wanted, but it will all work out fine. Joey is joining him this year at the middle school. Joey is going to be on Element this year. His home room teacher is "the best teacher ever!" So apparently he is very excited to have hi,. I can't believe I will have 2 in middle school. That is mind blowing. But not as much as thinking of my little Serenity starting Kindergerten. She is so excited. She has Mrs. Ulmer. I hear really great things about her from kids and parents, so that makes me happy. Serenity had kindergarten orientation on the 27th, and she was so excited. She even got to ride on the bus around the school. She met her bus driver that day too. Well one of them. She will have 2 because of leaving from JLDC to go to school and then from school she will be coming home. So on the 27th she met Mrs. J (who I have known for 5 years when Joey went to kindergarten) and then coming home from school she will have Kathi, and well, I have known her forever. My little girl couldn't be in better hands. Not that I was worried, I trust most of the bus drivers thanks to Jimmy knowing them all. And he would have told me if we had one I shouldn't be happy with.
The kids have *most* of their school suppiles for school. Just a few odds and ends to pick up. Nothing major. We still need to do some clothes shopping but they have enough to start back with. I can't believe how fast the summer went. But I know they are excited to get back to school.
