Aloe planting

My mom loves plants. And she hates when I buy her presents. So with Mother's Day a few days away, I was raking my brain on what to give her. While watering my plants, I saw that my aloe plant was sprouting some babies. Well, my mom is very clutsy (like me) and she burns herself a lot. So that would be a great Mother's Day present.
Getting ready to start replanting.
While I was replanting, Willow was playing next to me on her balnket in the grass. She loves being outside.

While she was playing, she discovered a flower just out of her reach. It didn't take long before she got her hands on it and was taking the petals off.

Here is my beautiful aloe plant. I have only had it for a few months. It was just a baby itself when I got it. You can see the tiny little shoots coming off the main roots.

Here is my Mom's new baby aloe plant. It has 2 small shoots in it.

Here is my aloe plant in its new home. The other pot it was in was too small and since I was unpotting it, I figured I would give it a bigger pot.

Aloe plants are sooo cool! I'm considering planting one. Is there anything special I should know before I do?

NO, they are actually one of the easiest plants in the world. Someone once told me that her plant thrived on neclect. My only thing is I have to watch if hubby decides to help out with watering. If he waters it too much it turns a little yellow instead of that pretty green. And they thrive so well. The babies sprout all the time.

Awww... That's so sweet. Mother's Day will be a challenge for me I think I'll just get my Dad something. LOL.

I use to do that for my mom but on Father's Day. I would get her a present.

How do you get her to stay on her blanky? Cayley is OFF the second I turn my back and usually eating dirt. LOL

She isn't that quick yet. But she does work her way off. And the flower was in her mouth more than once.
